p. Major/higher components may be coded as `CC,' `RC' or `TC' components and have sub-components/parts listed on the back side of the DA Form
2408-16 or 2408-16-1 that are `TC' or `RC,' and which have an earlier removal time then the major/higher component. The removal/replacement time of the
major/higher component is governed by the lowest life remaining, whether it is the major/higher component or a sub-component/part.
q. This TB contains additions, deletions and changes to the previous TB, dated Jun 2004. These additions, deletions and changes have been dictated by
changes to 23 TMs and ISAQ, or release of Safety of Flights, Aviation Safety Action Messages, Maintenance Information Messages, and procurement of new
equipment. The following is how the additions, deletions and changes should be handled.
(1) Additions for items that are installed. Check columns `D,' `E,' `F,' `G,' `I,' and `J' to determine which forms and records need to be
annotated. Check the appropriate form(s) to see if the item is already listed. If the item is already listed, no other action is required. If the item is not already
listed, list it on the appropriate form(s) and complete a DA Form 2410, copy 2, to show a `U' gain to the Army inventory and a copy 3 to show the installation of
the item. Mail the completed copy 2 and 3 to Commander, US Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-MA-NC, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-
5000.
(2) Additions for items that are uninstalled. Check columns `D,' `E,' `F,' `G,' `I,' and `J' to determine which forms and records need to be
annotated. Check the appropriate form(s) to see if the item is already listed. If the item is already listed, no other action is required. If the item is not already
listed, list it on the appropriate form(s) and complete a DA Form 2410, copy 2, to show a `U' gain to the Army inventory. The copy 3 will remain with the item
until it is installed. Mail the completed copy 2 to the address in paragraph 3.q.(2).
(3) Deletions. Items which have been highlighted in gray shading and contain the letters "D", "E", "L", "E", "T", "E", "D" in columns `D'
through `J' have been dropped from component tracking and will not be listed in the next revision of this TB. These items will be lined out on the appropriate
form(s) and a statement inserted over the lined out entry, "Deleted IAW TB 1-1500-341-01, dated July XXXX". The delete date should be the published date of
this new TB.
(4) Changes. An asterisk (*) in the right hand margin indicates that something has been changed since the last revision.
