Do not use any preservatives of
any kind internally within the com-
pressor assembly. Compressor
plastic liner muld be damaged.
Drycleaning solvent, P-D-680, used
to clean parts is potentially dangerous
to personnel and property. Avoid
repeated and prolonged skin contact.
Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing
of vapors. Do not use near open
flame or excessive heat. Flash point
of solvent is 100°F - 138°F (38°C -
590C)
.
Drycleaning solvent (item 1, Appendix D).
a. Clean exterior of com-
pressor assembly as
necessary with solvent.
Air dry or dry with a
clean lint-free cloth.
Blow out all crevices
with dry, filtered, low-
pressure compressed
air. Touch up painted
areas when damaged in
accordance with para-
graphs 2-11 and 2-17.
Do not expose touchup
areas to oil or cleaning
solvent for a minimum
of 72 hours after appli-
cation.
