PROPELLER FAILURE
1.
Power (failed propeller) - IDLE.
2.
Propeller (failed propeller) - FEATHER.
3.
Condition lever - As required.
4.
Engine clean up - As required.
PRIMARY PITCH LIGHT ON
1.
Propeller RPM and engine torque - Monitor.
2.
The action to be taken depends on torque and propeller
speed:
(1)
If propeller RPM increases and engine torque
decreases - Secure engine as soon as practical.
(2)
increases - Pull PROP GOV IDLE STOP circuit
breaker immediately.
(3)
PROP GOV IDLE STOP circuit breaker.
