c. Inspect shaft (20).
(1)
There shall be no cracks.
(2)
Inspect shaft journal area (21). There
shall be no pitting or nicking. The out-
side diameter shall not be worn to less
than 2.0425 inches.
(3)
Inspect splines (22 and 23). (Ref. Task
1-118). There shall be no wear deeper
than 0.007 inch on spline (22) and
0.005 inch on spline (23).
(4)
Inspect labyrinth seal (24) for cracks.
(5)
Inspect shaft journal area (25). The out-
side diameter shall not be worn to less
than 2.5588 inches.
2. Install vexar nylon webbing (E56) (26) over
shaft journal area (21).
