TM 55-4920-328-13
e. Set the control knobs, marked PICK UP and DROP
OUT on relay K6, approximately 1/4 turn clockwise from
their stops.
f. Apply power to the variac and increase the output
voltage until the ohmmeter indicates infinity (open
circuit). Note the voltage at which the K6 relay actuates.
g. Adjust the control knob marked PICK UP until the
relay actuates on increasing voltage 130 2 volts.
h. Decrease the output voltage of the variac until the
ohmmeter indicates zero ohms (short circuit). Note the
voltage at which the K6 relay actuates.
i. Adjust the control knob marked DROP OUT until
the relay actuates on decreasing voltage at 125 2
volts.
NOTE
There must be at least a 2 volt
difference between the pick up and
drop out points.
j. Recheck the settings obtained in steps g. and i. as
there may be some inter-action between the Pick Up
and Drop Out controls.
k. Disconnect power to the variac and disconnect
variac, AC voltmeter and ohmmeter from the test set-
up.
l. Connect connector J3, disconnected in step a., to
No. 1 power control panel.
