GENERAL
Purpose.
This manual establishes standards, that apply to
maintenance and maintenance management of all Army aircraft, and
ancillary aeronautical equipment.
Scope.
This manual applies to all elements of the Army
including the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, depots and
contractors engaged in the operation, maintenance, or storage of Army
aircraft, aviation associated equipment and applicable components
owned and managed by the Army, with the exception of Unmanned Air
Vehicles.
For the purpose of this manual, definitions
contained in the following sections apply, in addition to those
contained in Army Regulation (AR) 310-25 (Dictionary of U.S. Army
Terms).
