TRACKING A COURSE INBOUND
(INCPT CRS)
1. Press DIR key.
2. Select desired waypoint.
3. Type inbound course into scratchpad.
4. Paste to INCPT CRS (R6)
5. Verify course on LEGS page or MFD map
and press EXEC.
TRACKING A COURSE OUTBOUND
(Place Bearing/Distance)
1. Ensure reference waypoint is in LEGS page.
2. Type required information into scratchpad in
following format: "PlaceBearing/Distance"
(eg. "ICT245/32).
3. Paste in LEGS page after reference waypoint.
4. Verify waypoint on LEGS page or MFD map
and press EXEC.
NOTE
If tracking course until further vectors (an
unknown distance), enter a larger distance to
draw an extended line (eg. "ICT245/100").
NAVIGATING TO AN UN-NAMED INTERSEC-
TION (PlaceBearing/PlaceBearing)
1. Type required information for reference
radials into scratchpad in following
format: "PlaceBearing/PlaceBearing" (eg.
"ICT240/HUT173).
2. Paste in the LEGS page at the appropriate
location.
3. Verify the waypoint on the LEGS page or
MFD map and press EXEC.
FIX INFO (Distance or Radial Information)
1. Press IDX key.
2. Press FIX (right side location may vary).
3. Paste desired reference ix in REF (L1).
4. Enter crossing (L2) or crossing distance (L3).
