Portable Computer Improved Data Modem (PC-IDM)
The Portable Computer Improved Data Modem (PC-IDM) is optional equipment providing a physical interface
with the SINCGARS tactical suite of radios. The PC-IDM is a 2 channel tactical modem/router manufactured as
a PC-Card and is installed into the Type II PCMCIA port of the AMPS PCU. The PC-IDM provides 2 data cables
for connecting with a SINCGARS radio. An optional 20 foot SINCGARS cable can also be used to increase the
distance between the SINCGARS radio and the AMPS PCU.
Ruggedized Printer Assembly
The Ruggedized Printer Assembly is a commercially available Hewlett Packard HP-990C/980C/960C series
Printer with a Ruggedized housing. The Ruggedized Printer Assembly comes with power cord, black printer
cartridge, tri-color printer cartridge, printer software with operating system drivers, quick start poster, and quick
reference guide.
