Proceed as follows: NOTE When removing engine accessories reinstall all engine plugs and dust covers. a.   Disconnect/remove the following prior to removing the engine and dolly from the test trailer (figure 2-11): NOTE Do not disconnect hoses from slave units. (1)   Remove slave units from engine mounting pad. NOTE Hoses may contain entrapped fluid. (2)   Disconnect all hose and cable connections to the test trailer at engine and power absorption system connecting points. b.   Remove the dolly assembly from the test trailer as follows (see figure 1-3): (1)     Attach the test trailer crane assembly to the engine    mount    ring.        (Refer    to    paragraph    2-13    for operating instructions for the crane assembly.) (2) Remove the dolly axle latch arms (20). (3) Remove the dolly and engine from the test trailer. (4)   Detach and secure the test trailer crane, then install the dolly drawbar. (3)   Remove  the  three  drain  bottles  and  hose' assemblies,   NI   and   NII   tachometer   generators,   and bleed band cable assembly. (4) Remove the torque element drain bottle. (5) Remove the engine fuel control actuator linkage and throttle position transmitter and, bracket. (6)   Remove the inlet guide vane transmitter assembly from the T53-L-13 engines. CAUTION Position torque element cable to prevent damage when removing inlet screen assembly. (7)   Remove the water brake water supply and water return manifolds. (8) Remove the inlet screen assembly. (9) Remove the outer and inner bellmouths. (10) Disconnect and remove all accessory hoses and cables, adapters, and thermocouples from the engine test dolly, engine, and power absorption system. (11) Remove the three vibration adapters. (12) Install   the   power   absorption   system   sling assembly.    Remove  the  power  absorption  system  and engine shaft adapter. (13)     Install the engine lifting eyes and engine lifting sling. (14)    Remove the bolts from the engine mount brackets and remove the engine. CAUTION Support the starter generator to prevent damage to studs. (15) Remove the starter generator. (16) Remove the engine mounts and engine mounting brackets. (17)    If T53 turboshaft testing has concluded, disconnect and remove all accessory hoses and cables from the test trailer. c.   Remove the engine from the dolly assembly' as follows:  (1)  Remove the two combustor housing thermocouples and gaskets. (2)   Remove the exhaust assembly V-band clamp and then remove exhaust assembly.  Install dust cover on engine diffuser housing. 2-77
