Carefully unwrap outer braid from center
142. MIL-C-29600 CONNECTOR SYSTEM BACK-
washer and slide washer toward coupling nut.
SHELL REMOVAL. To facilitate repair of a MIL-C-
29600 connector, the backshell must be removed (see
d. Carefully unwrap individual shields from
Figures 75-80). Use the following procedure to remove
washer closest to connector and slide back toward
the backshell for the MIL-C-29600 connector system:
coupling nut.
a. Unscrew and slide backshell coupling nut
