ESIS TEST
1. ESIS switch -- TEST, green light illuminates.
2. ESIS switch -- ON, amber light illuminates.
OVERHEAD PANEL
1. MASTER PANEL LIGHTS -- As required.
2. Lighting rheostats -- As required.
3. WINDSHIELD WIPERS -- OFF.
PEDESTAL CONTROLS
1. POWER levers -- IDLE.
Placing PROP levers in FEATHER will help
prevent un-commanded movement of aircraft
during icy ramp operations.
2. PROP levers -- HIGH.
3. CONDITION levers -- FUEL CUTOFF.
4. FLAPS -- As required.
ENGINE START
1. IGNITION AND ENGINE START switch --
ON. IGN ON annunciator should illuminate
and associated FUEL PRESS annunciator
should extinguish.
2. CONDITION lever (after N1 stabilizes above
12% For 5 seconds minimum) -- LOW IDLE.
3. ITT and N1 -- Monitor. ITT 1000C maximum.
N1 61%.
4. Oil pressure -- Check (60 psi minimum).
5. IGNITION AND ENGINE START switch --
OFF after 50% N1.
