extinguished.
5. CONDITION levers -- As required.
CMWS
1. SACP -- Set as follows:
a. Safety pin -- Conirm installed.
b. ARM/SAFE switch -- SAFE.
c. JETTISON switch cover -- Down.
d. ZEROIZE switch cover -- Down.
2. CI PWR switch -- ON. Monitor system for
following audio/visual actions:
a. Verify status alphanumeric display and
indicator briely light.
b. Message COMM FAIL is displayed on CI
at start-up for approximately 30 seconds
this is normal. If COMM FAIL is displayed
for longer than 3 minutes, wait another 2
minutes before aborting process.
c. Verify "AAR-57 Self Test" Audio is heard
at start of SBIT over intercom (ICS) and
CI displays BIT I/P.
d. Verify "Missile, Missile" is heard over ICS.
e. Verify 4 CI THREAT quadrant indicators
lash twice simultaneously.
f. If a fault appears, review and record the
XXXX FAIL or XXXX DEGR (ground only)
message(s).
g. Toggle CI PWR switch to TEST and
release to display next fault message.
Review and record message. Continue
to toggle CI PWR switch to TEST and
and release to page through all fault
messages.
h. If SYS PASS message appears, system
is mission capable.
