f. ICE VANE CONTROL switches (#1 and #2 ) -- ON.
g. ICE & RAIN switches -- OFF.
h. EXTERIOR LTS switches -- As required.
i. AVIONICS MASTER POWER switch -- As required.
j. #1 and #2 INVERTER switches -- As required.
k. ENVIRONMENTAL switches -- As required.
l. AUTOFEATHER switch -- OFF.
m. #1 AUTO IGNITION switch -- OFF.
n. #1 ENG START switch -- OFF.
o. BATTERY switch -- As required.
p. GENERATOR switches (#1 and #2 ) -- OFF.
q. #2 ENG START switch -- OFF.

* 6. Fuel panel switches -- Check.
a. STANDBY PUMP switches (#1 and #2 ) -- OFF.

7. Magnetic compass -- Check for luid, heading, and current correction card.
Movement of the POWER levers below the light idle gate with the engines not operating may result
in bending and damage to control linkage.
* 8. Pedestal controls -- Set.
a. POWER levers -- IDLE.
b. PROP levers -- HIGH RPM.
c. CONDITION levers -- FUEL CUTOFF.
d. FLAP selector -- As required.
* 9. Pedestal extension switches -- Set.
a. RUDDER BOOST switch -- ON.
b. ELEV TRIM switch -- ON.
c. CMWS Control Indicator PWR -- OFF.
d. CMWS Safe/Arm Control Panel -- JETTISON cover down, SAFETY PIN in, SAFE , and ZEROIZE
cover down.
10. LANDING GEAR ALTERNATE EXTENSION pump handle -- Stowed.
11. Free air temperature gauge -- Check. Note current reading.
12. Pilot s instrument panel -- Check and set.
a. MIC switch -- HEADSET.
b. HDG AHRS #1 -- NORM.
c. PFD -- Check screen is clean and inclinometer ball centered and full of luid.
