THIS FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN PRE-
PARED FOR STORAGE BY FLUSHING
WITH OIL CONFORMING TO SPECIFICA-
TION MIL-L-6081, GRADE 1010.
Refer to paragraphs 2-11, 2-17, and 5-6. Do
not expose touchup areas to engine fluids
or cleaning solvents for a minimum period
of 72 hours after application.
This action does not apply to caps (1 and 5)
on the combustor drain valve and exhaust
collector drain. Caps (1 and 5) are to be
tightened to bottom of cap, then twisted
an additional 90-120 degrees.
Secure in cut-off posi-
tion.
Secure tight enough to
prevent movement.
Attach tag (3) to fuel
inlet shipping plug (2).
Touch up paint where
damaged.
Tighten aluminum and
plastic shipping caps
and plugs finger tight.
Tighten to standard
torques.
Tighten nuts which
secure plastic acces-
sory covers as required
to obtain a snug fit
without excessive cover
indentation. Cover
the compressor bleed
valve with cover (4).
