6-3 FUEL PUMP (Continued)
6-3-1 REMOVAL
1. Remove lockwire, disconnect and remove fuel
delivery tube (2) from adapter (7). Install protection
caps.
2. Remove lockwire and disconnect fuel inlet tube (1)
from elbow (10). Install protection caps.
3. Remove nuts (3) and washers (4).
4. Remove pump (5). Remove and discard gasket (6).
5. If replacement pump is to be installed:
a. Remove lockwire, unscrew and remove
adapter (7). Remove and discard preformed packing
(8).
