REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect electrical connector at receptacle (1)
on tachometer-generator (2) and cap receptacle and
connector.
2.
Slide tachometer-generator off mounting studs and
discard gasket (3).

INSPECTION
Inspect for physical damage or obviously worn
bearings; either condition shall be cause for rejection.

INSTALLATION
1.
Smear tachometer-generator (2) drive shaft with a
small amount of Plastilube No. 3 Grease (E.22).
2.
Fit new gasket (3) to tachometer-generator (2).
3.
Slide tachometer-generator (2) on to mounting
studs, electrical receptacle facing forward.
4.
Connect
electrical
connector
to
tachometer-
generator.
