CAUTION
Do not cut the rotor blade structure. Use extra caution when removing the material
from rotor blades made from composite materials.
This coating is relatively immune to most solvents and to abrasive cleaning techniques. The recommended removal
procedure is by scraping in a direction along the surface of the blade.
WARNING
Rotor Blade Erosion Protection must be removed from the AH-64A and UH-60A
aircraft before operation in icing conditions.
Refer to table 1-1 to identify the quantity of aircraft each kit can modify/support.
For example:
The UH-60 Kit can modify/support 4 OH-58A/C Aircraft.
The CH-47D Kit can modify/support 6 1/2 OH-58A/C Aircraft.
