(2) Perform a final inspection of blade tip cap for damage. Discovered damage must be treated per -23 TM
before aircraft operation. Clean and paint the blade tip per the applicable -23 TM.
(3) Check track and balance of the main rotors per -23 TM after all erosion protection is removed.
CAUTION
Care should be taken to prevent cutting of the rotor blade structure. Use extra
caution when removing the material from rotor blades made from composite
materials.
