7-3 IGNITION REGULATOR (Continued)
7-3-1 REMOVAL
1.
Remove lockwire and disconnect ignition cables (1)
at regulator cover.
2.
Remove lockwire, bolts (2), washers (3) and regulator
(4).
7-3-2 INSPECTION
1.
Carefully
examine
mounting
bracket
weld
for
cracking, which may be repaired (Task 7-3-4).
2.
Examine the three electrical connectors, which may
be removed (Task 7-3-4).
