Maximum shim thickness shall not exceed
0.045 inch.
2. Check axial clearance between second
turbine disc assembly (4) and third turbine
nozzle (5) as follows: Use locating bar (T1) (6).
a. Calculate outer axial clearance as follows:
(1) Measure from mounting flange (7) to inner
shroud (8). Subtract thickness of locating
bar (T1) (6). Record as dimension A.
