Guide the torque element shaft (12, figure 2-28)
into the engine shaft adapter and secure the water
brake/torque system to the engine inlet housing with
eight spacers (6) and nuts (7). Tighten and lockwire the
nuts.

Disconnect and remove the barlift assembly (3).

Install the inner bellmouth (8, figure 2-30) around
the torque system.
m. Install thermocouple assemblies (1), covers (2),
plugs (3), nuts (4) and covers (5) on bellmouth (6).

Install bellmouth (6) on engine inlet housing with
clamp coupler (7). Tighten clamp to 85 ±
5 inchpounds
torque.
o.
Install the inlet screen assembly (9) around the
power absorption system and outer bellmouth. Secure
in place with locking pins (optional).
p.
Install vibration pickup (13, figure 2-28) on water
brake pickup mounting plate and secure with washers
(14) and screws (15).
