WARNING
Compressed Air
·
When using compressed air for
any cleaning or drying operation,
do not exceed 30 psig at the
nozzle.
·
Eyes can be permanently damaged
by contact with liquid or large
particles propelled by compressed
air. Inhalation of airblown particles
or solvent vapor can damage
lungs.
·
When using air for drying or
cleaning
at
an
air-exhausted
workbench,
wear
approved
goggles or face shield.
·
When using air for drying or
cleaning
at
an
unexhausted
workbench,
wear
approved
respirator or goggles.
CAUTION
Never use a chemical solvent on
electrical contacts.

Remove grease from metal mechanical parts,
using a lint-free cloth dampened with trichloroethane 0-
T-620 or dry cleaning solvent P-D-680. Wipe solvent
from parts immediately, and dry parts with compressed
air at 5 psig.

Combustible do not use near open
flames, near welding areas, or on
hot surfaces.
·
Do not have prolonged contact
with liquid or vapor. Inhalation of
vapor
can
cause
drowsiness,
respiratory
irritation,
headache,
and nausea.
·
After prolonged skin contact, wash
contacted area with soap and
water. If vapors cause drowsiness,
go to fresh air.
·
If prolonged contact with vapor is
likely, wear approved gloves.
·
Dispose of liquid-soaked rags in
approved metal container.
CAUTION
Do
not
use
chlorinated
hydrocarbon
solvents
(carbon
tetrachloride,
trichloroethane,
etc,) on hoses or parts containing
Buna N seals. Doing so will result
in severe swelling.
c.
Hose assemblies may be cleaned and flushed
with clean petroleum-based solvents such as dry
cleaning solvent P-D680, or kerosene VV-K-2110.
