INSTALL VALVE COVERS (Refer to Figure 26.)

5 mm socket head wrench
Gasket (WP 0117 00, Item 50)
(WP 0113 00, Item 3)
3/8 in. drive ratchet wrench
Equipment Condition:
(WP 0113 00, Item 3)
Fuel injectors installed
1.
Position valve cover gasket (1) on cylinder head.
NOTE
Valve cover with oil fill cap is positioned toward the PTO end of the engine.
2.
Position valve cover (2) on gasket (1) and cylinder head (3).
3.
If not adjusting fuel injection pump later, install and alternately tighten the socket head screws (4) attaching valve covers
(2) to cylinder head (3). If adjusting fuel injection pump or engine intake and exhaust valve, hand tighten only.
