Disconnect vibration meter harness 17A8576G01
as follows:
(1) Extend multichannel vibration meter 2A3 panel
out of control cab assembly (see figure 1-23).
(2) Disconnect harness connectors 17A8576G01
from vibration meters 2A3 as follows:
(a)
Disconnect
EX-V
and
EX-H
from
exhaust frame vertical and horizontal meter.
(b)
Disconnect
AGB
from
accessory
gearbox meter.
(3) Remove protective caps from control cab
harness connectors. Reinstall connectors to the
appropriate vibration meter connectors. Tighten
connectors handtight.
(4) Insert the multichannel vibration meter panel
(2A3) back into control cab assembly. Secure panel.
(5) Return oil temperature meter connection leads
to their original locations (see figure FO-28).

Disconnect all hoses from drain points (D1
through D6) and remove drain measurement adapter (1,
figure 2-60). I
WARNING
Serious personal injury can result if control
of the test dolly is lost during removal from
test trailer. When removing engine and test
dolly, all personnel must stay clear of cable
and areas forward and aft of engine.
e.
Remove T700 engine and test dolly from test
trailer.
f.
Remove the following test equipment:
(1)
Remove starter (51, figure 2-58) and clutch
jaw assembly (43 through 49) from accessory gearbox.
(2)
For T700-GE-700 and -701 engine models,
disconnect electrical connector and remove variable
stator transmitter assembly (22). Install bolts (20) and
nuts (21) that were removed from accessory gearbox
splitline during installation of transmitter.
(3)
For
T700-GE-701C
engine
model,
disconnect electrical connector and remove variable
stator transmitter assembly (56). Install four bolts (54)
into stator transmitter bracket (55).
(4)
Disconnect LDS and PAS control cables
from transmitters.
(5)
Remove LDS position transmitter (35), PAS
position
transmitter
(31),
and
baseplate
from
hydromechanical control unit (HMU).
g.
Remove the following engine instruments as
follows:
(1)
Remove lube scavenge thermocouple (6).
Install scavenge screen (1) and preformed packing (3).
Torque scavenge screen to 140-150 inch-pounds.
(2)
Remove three accelerometers (14 and 38)
and brackets (13 and 39). Reinstall bolts that were
removed from exhaust frame and accessory gearbox
during assembly. Torque exhaust frame nuts
