Manually rotate the shaft of the inlet guide
vane transmitter and observe throttle position indicator
3A3M2 for corresponding rotation of the needle.
(Direction of rotation is not significant.)
c.
Manually rotate the shaft of the throttle
position transmitter and observe throttle position
indicator on 3A1 for corresponding rotation of the
needle. (Direction of rotation is not significant.)
d.
Restore the position transmitters to the
positions shown in figure FO-22.
e.
Detach
connector
P2
from
3A3M2
in
operator's panel assembly 3A3 and detach connector P4
from 3A1 M2 in operator's panel assembly 3A1.
f.
Electrically connect P2 to 3A1M2 and
electrically connect P4 to 3A3M2.
g.
Rotate the shaft of the throttle position
transmitter and observe inlet guide vane indicator
3A1M2 for corresponding rotation.
h.
Rotate the shaft of the inlet guide vane
transmitter and observe throttle position indicator for
corresponding rotation.
i.
When the faulty component has been found
by the method described in the preceding steps, replace
the defective unit with a new part of like part number.
Restore the circuitry as shown in figure FO-22.
