6-14. Diesel Engine AC Generator and Cable Set.
Service the diesel engine ac generator and cable
set (figure 7-31) upon receipt of the equipment and as
usage dictates, using the servicing procedures outlined
in TM5-6115-425-12.
6-15. Hydraulic Control Subsystem.
(See figure 6-2. ) For servicing at receipt of the
equipment or when operation of a master control unit in
the control cab module feels spongy or sluggish,
servicing of the hydraulic control subsystem servo loop
is required. Proceed as follows:
NOTE
The following instructions are typical
for all servo loops in the hydraulic
control subsystem.
a. Remove the cap from suction port E on the
bottom of the filler bleeder.
b. Fabricate two 24-inch lengths of tubing with a
7/16-20 straight internal thread nut attached on one end
of each tube.
c. Install the tube on suction port E, using an O-
ring
packing
to
seal
the
connection.
