Install the replacement part using new rivets.
New rivets may be installed in wet primer;, drying is not
required. Upset the rivets in accordance with good shop
practice.
6-31. Tube Assemblies.
When required, new tube assemblies may be shop-
fabricated by using the appropriate length of
0.035-inch wall, 0.250-inch diameter steel tubing
conforming to AMS5560. Install a new sleeve and B-nut
on each end of the tube and flare the tube ends in
accordance with Military Standard MS33584. Bend the
tube assembly as required to ensure correct attachment
at both ends and clearance with other components.
