(h) Services sub-module (Unit 4) The
services sub-module (figure 1-25) consists essentially of
a
sheet
metal
cabinet
assembly
containing
instrumentation, ac and dc power supply components,
and power and signal distribution terminal board
assemblies for the control and indicating circuits. In
addition, Unit 4 contains the following front panel-
mounted electrical components, depicted in figure 1-25:

The services sub-module cabinet assembly houses an
audible alarm assembly (195 through 201, figure 7-18),
3 terminal board assemblies, 24 cable assemblies (8
through 31), and miscellaneous components such as
bracket supports, lacing bars, and a bottom connector
mounting panel assembly 4A10. A shaded light
assembly 4A3 is attached to the upper front of the
cabinet
assembly
to
provide
illumination
during
operation of maintenance actions. The significant
components of the services sub-module assembly are
described in the following text.
