1. Preparation of
Container
All engines which are prepared for storage
or shipment will be preserved and packed in
a metal reusable shipping and storage con-
tainer, PN 8145-CON-001, NSN 8145-00-
034-1063, in accordance with the following
procedure.
a. Loosen two nuts (26)
and pivot cover (31)
around to expose air
valve (32).
Personnel should stand clear of air
valve when loosening to prevent
personal injury
b. Slowly loosen air
valve (32) to relieve pres-
sure in the container.
