d. Install the compressor wash manifold assembly
as shown in view D, observing the following:
(1) Install the brackets (19, 28) on the
engine as shown in view D, using four bolts (20), four
washers (21), and four nuts (22).
(2) Assemble the manifold assemblies (18,
27) and tee (29).
(3) Install the coupler (31) in the side leg of
the tee (29).
(4) Install the nipple (30) in the coupler
(31).
e. Install the assembled manifold assemblies,
tee, and coupler on the brackets (19, 28), using four
clamps (23), four screws (24), four washers (25), and
four nuts (26).
f. Install the brackets (32), one each at the 1
o'clock, 4 o'clock, and 11 o'clock positions as shown in
view D, using three bolts (33), three washers (34), and
three nuts (35).
g. Install one inlet housing thermocouple (36) in
each bracket (32), using two bolts (33), two washers
(34), and two nuts (35).
h. Assemble the packing (37) on the nipple (38),
then install the assembled parts in the hose assembly
(39). Install the nipple (40) and drain bottle (41) in the
free end of the hose assembly, then install the
assembled parts in the fuel control drain port.
i. Connect the hose assembly (42) to the aft
combustor section drain port.
j. Assemble the packing (43) on the nipple (44),
then install the assembled parts in the fuel manifold
dump port. Connect the hose assembly (45) to the
nipple.
k. Connect the hose assembly (46) to the forward
combustor section drain port valve.
I. For engine model CP-700 only, install two tail
pipes (47), using 12 bolts (48), 24 washers (49), and 12
nuts (50).
m. For engine model CP-702 only, install two tail
pipes (51), using 12 bolts (48), 24 washers (49), and 12
nuts (50).
n. Assemble the packing (52) on the chip detector
(53), then install the assembled parts in the chip
detector port. Tighten and lockwire the chip detector.
o. For engine model CP-702 only, place the
gasket (54) on the Nil tachometer generator mounting
pad studs, then install the Nil tachometer generator (55),
using four washers (56) and four nuts (57).
p. Install the cover (58) on the propeller governor
mounting pad and existing gasket, using four spacers
(59) and four nuts (60). Install the plug (61) in the
cover.
q. Assemble the packing (62) on the nipple (63),
then install the assembled parts in the oil system
pressure transmitter port. Install the reducer (64) on the
nipple, then install the nut (65) and elbow (66). Connect
one end of the hose assembly (67) to the elbow, install
the nipple (68) in the other end of the hose assembly
and connect the nipple to the M5 quick-disconnect
coupler on the data acquisition assembly as shown in
view N.
r. Install the temperature bulb (69) as shown in
view L.
s. For engine model CP-702 only, install the cap
assembly (70) on the fuel bleed back bypass port.
t. Assemble the packing (71) on the adapter (72),
then install the assembled parts in the overboard
breather port using two washers (73) and two screws
(74). Install the elbow (75) on the adapter, then connect
one end of the hose assembly (76) on the elbow.
u. Place the gasket (77) on the NI tachometer
generator
mounting
pad
studs,
then
install
the
tachometer generator (78), using four washers (79) and
four nuts (80) as shown in view R.
v. Assemble the packing (81) on the nipple (82),
then install the assembled parts in the fuel heater main
supply inlet port. Install the tee (83) on the nipple, then
install the reducer (84) on the top leg of the tee. Install
the nut (85) on the reducer and connect the hose
assembly (87) on the reducer.
w. Attach the hose assembly (86) to the side leg
of the tee (83), then assemble the packing (92) on the
reducer (91) and install the assembled parts in the free
end of the hose assembly. Install the coupler (93) on
the reducer.
x. Assemble the following parts as shown in view
N. Install one nipple (89) in the hose assembly (90),
install the second nipple (89) in the tee (88), then install
the tee in the free end of the hose assembly. Connect
the upper nipple to the S1 quick-disconnect coupler in
the
data
acquisition
