Remove protective caps from harness

Connect
harness
17A8576G01 connectors to the appropriate vibration
meter and input connector as follows (see figure 1-23):
(a)
Connect EX-V to exhaust frame vertical
meter (first meter from left facing panel).
(b)
Connect EX-H to exhaust frame horizontal
meter (second meter from left).
(c)
Connect AGB to accessory gearbox meter
(fourth meter from left).
(d)
Connect W/B to W/B meter (third meter
from left).
(4)
Insert the multichannel vibration meter
panel 2A3 back into control cab assembly. Secure
panel.
(5)
Set the positions of the MODE switches on
panel 2A3 for velocity.
(6)
Connect oil temperature meter leads as
shown on figure FO-28.

Install
accelerometer

connectors as follows:
NOTE
Electrical connectors SP1 and SP2 are spares.

Connect
AGB
to
accessory
gearbox
accelerometer (26, figure 2-59) located at 9 o'clock
position (aft looking forward). Tighten connector hand
tight.
(2)
Connect
EX-V
to
exhaust
frame
accelerometer (27) at 2 o'clock position (aft looking
forward). Tighten (60°
wrench arc) connector.
(3)
Connect
EX-H
to
exhaust
frame
accelerometer (28) at 5 o'clock position (aft looking
forward). Tighten (60°
wrench arc) connector.

For T700-GE-700, -701 engine models, install E1
harness 17A8599P01 connectors as follows:
NOTE
The E1 and E3 engine electrical connectors are marked
with a dark-colored circumferential band which will be
totally covered (not visible) when the respective harness
connector are correctly attached.

Connect E1 to E1 connection (29) at the 6
o'clock position on electrical control unit (ECU).
(2)
Hand-tighten connector to cover color band.
(3)
P18 to connector J18 (52) on data
acquisition assembly (1).
