Attach water brake pressure-IN hose 17A8585G03
(11) and water brake pressure-OUT hose 17A8585G04
(12) as follows:
(1)
Connect W/B PRESSURE IN to pressure
fitting (13). Torque coupling nut (16) to 135-150
inch-pounds.
(2)
Connect W/B PRESSURE OUT to pressure
fitting (14). Torque coupling nut (16) to 135-150
inch-pounds.

Install connectors of PAS and variable stator
harness 18A8577P01 (18) as follows:
(1)
Connect VAR STAT to transmitter (19).
(2)
Connect PAS to position indicator (20).
q.
Install water brake air hose 17A8616GO1 to air
connection on water brake (see figure 2-59).
r.
Connect water brake vibration harness
17A8615GO1 connector to vibration transducer on water
brake (see figure 2-59).
NOTE
If any of the following have been removed,
they must be reinstalled as instructed in TM
55-2840-248-23:
·
fuel pressure switch
·
oil pressure transmitter
·
oil temperature detector.

Install drain measurement adapters as follows:
(1)
Attach D1 combustor drain, D3 common drain, D4
(-700) POU, or (-701, -701C) ODV drain, D6 swirl frame
drain, and D5 HMU vent/-drain connections (see figure
2-60).
(2)
Put packings (3 and 4) on connectors (5 and
6).
(3)
Torque D1, D4, D5, and D6 connections to
40-65 inch pounds.
(4)
Torque D3 connection to 150-160 inch
pounds.
CAUTION
Make sure that hoses and electrical lines
are properly secured, to prevent damage
when moving test dolly.

INSTALLATION OF ENGINE AND TEST
DOLLY ONTO TEST TRAILER .
WARNING
Serious personal injury can result if control
of the test dolly is lost during installation on
test trailer. When installing engine on test
dolly, all personnel must stay clear of cable
and areas forward and aft of engine.
a.
Install the dolly on the test trailer and remove the
engine test dolly drawbar.
b.
Place the latch arms (20, figure 1-33 over the
dolly axles, and tighten the swing eye bolt with handle
(21).
